Sasha's brother might be one hell of a gorgeous gold dragon but he really pissed me off earlier by bossing us around like we were a couple of ten-year-old kids! Sooner or later he's going to realize that I don't take orders from anyone.

We ditched him and Rihkard and ended up hiding out in this barn. That's when I got hit with another one of those urges to kiss Sasha. Shit! What the fuck is going on with these urges? Something tells me it's not normal to think about kissing a friend so often. Well, the smell of smoke snapped me to my senses pretty quick. We ran outside to find a 2-story building a few yards away, engulfed in flames.

Sasha and I have now been labeled heroes because we saved a mother and her baby from that burning building. The way I saw it at the time, we really didn't have any choice. Everyone was standing around waiting for a wizard to arrive to put out the fire but I had a feeling the place would burn to the ground before he got there. Guess what? I was right! There still wasn't any sign of this stupid wizard after we carried the mother and her kid out of the place.

I felt so damn glad to be alive and proud that we were able to save a couple of innocent lives. That coupled with the roar of the crowd proclaiming us heroes caused me to lose it for a minute. Without even thinking, I grabbed Sasha and kissed him. And again it was another magical kiss like the one we shared the night before. If someone didn't start squeezing my shoulder I think I would've went on kissing him for the rest of the day. At least Sasha didn't seem upset by my actions, and that's great cause I don't want to lose his friendship.

We got to use the facilities of a nearby bathhouse for free as a reward for our bravery. Oh yeah, we got a camel out of the deal too. The afore mentioned "urge" hit again while we were in the water together but thankfully this young kid who'd been translating for us interrupted things by walking in with a tray of food. I've been giving a lot of thought to my attraction for Sasha and have decided to try to keep a reasonable distance between us at all times because, like I said before, I don't want to lose his friendship by making a wrong move that he'll hate me for.

Now we're about to join in the fun with the rest of these swingers at The Smiling Siren, a popular tavern that caters to foreigners like us. None of us should have a hard time picking up a hot chick for the night cause the place is loaded with them. I particularly like Silvy, our waitress. She happens to have red hair to go along with a very curvaceous body.

Well, Mikael and Sasha decided to leave our merry band of adventurers and go off on their own to explore Neromba. I'm glad in a way because now Rowan and I won't have to worry about any more flair ups between Mikael and Jasmine. And in another way, I'm envious because as much as I enjoy the company of others I often find myself wishing that Rowan and I could have been the ones who teleported away.

It looks like we're not going to get any real privacy until we reach Bizmar. We couldn't even use our own room when the urge for a little romantic interlude struck us since our traveling companions presently occupy it. Of course we tried to rent another room but the inn was booked solid. After Rowan slipped the barkeep some extra gold, he agreed to let us use a room for a few hours, assuring us that its present occupant wouldn't be returning until very late in the evening. It turns out the guy was wrong! Right in the middle of our second round of lovemaking, the door bursts open and needles sail towards Rowan, missing his head by mere inches. Imagine our surprise (and embarrassment) to find Rei standing there getting an eyeful. To make amends for *ahem* messing up her sheets, we offered to treat her to dinner. We have a lot of catching up to do since she vanished with Lucius shortly after we left Dara together.

Hopefully, we'll be able to reclaim our own room tonight so we don't have to resort to sneaking off to the stables just to get some privacy.

It's hard to believe it, but we ran into Sasha's brother, Odarin in Neromba! Another dragon...and he's a GOLD one. All my life I've dreamed of bonding with a gold dragon. Every time I look at Odarin I get awestruck all over again. I managed to work up enough courage to invite him to share a room with me in the future. Hopefully by the time we get around to that I'll be able to talk to him about Solars and bonding without tripping over my own tongue.

Right now he's in the room next door with Rihkard, a guy he brought along with him. No, he's not a dragon but he looks like one hell of a warrior. I haven't even seen him in action yet but already I know I wouldn't mind having him as my bodyguard. I really hate to admit it but I KNOW I could use a little protection until my psychic powers increase and I get better at handing a sword. Back home I'd have a dragon to watch over me until I became stronger.....here I've only got myself to rely on.

I'm sharing a room with Sasha again tonight. I can't even look at him without getting this overwhelming desire to pull him closer and wrap my arms around him. Am I that desperate for a friend? That's what I thought at first but is it normal to have sensual fantasies about a friend? He'd probably want to kill me if he knew that I wanted to toss him down on the bed and kiss him until he begged me to do more. Cripes! I think a visit to a whorehouse is in order. Maybe that'd take care of my overactive hormones for a while.

We did it! Sasha and I were transported to the desert nation of Neromba. The raking teleport spell cost a fortune but I hope it was worth it. We better find all that treasure hidden in the numerous ruins spread across this land or else!

We left Falor in the afternoon but arrived in Neromba very later in the evening thanks to a big time difference I wasn't aware of. That means we'll probably be the only ones wide-awake right now in this city of Hazam. I hope we can find a decent, reasonably priced inn to check into. A few strong drinks and some Ocol weed should tire us out enough to fall asleep eventually. Shit, I hope the people here speak our language! Hmm, maybe we should have thought things out a little better before getting teleported here.

I've been on Variance for nearly 5 years, and not once did I see a dragon in all that time. Now they're coming out of the woodwork! I met 3 in the last week and a half. The really strange thing is that they all can change shape and assume human form. I still can't get used to the idea that the cute redhead I shared a room with last night happens to be a raking dragon! Yeah, his human form IS kind of cute but it's nothing compared to what he looks like when he makes the shift to a red dragon. That's the part I'm in love with! Well, not love love, but...oh shit, there's no other word that conveys what I really feel when I see a dragon. Being with Sasha and now this new one named Sachiel, makes me miss Solartis more than ever because I'm positive there's a special dragon waiting there to bond with me.

It was touch and go there for a while but Rowan and I are now engaged! Well, it's not official yet because we haven't told anyone about it. I think we might wait until we reach Bizmar, then we can throw a big party to announce it. I'm ecstatic and wouldn't mind rushing ahead to make plans for our wedding. I better curb my enthusiasm though since Rowan wants a long engagement. In a way that's great cause it'll allow us to save up some money.

The only thing ruining my wonderful mood right now is this senseless squabble going on between Mikael and Bell's friend. If I weren't such a nice guy, I'd cram my fists down both their throats! You know, I think I might just do that if they keep it up.

Tristan's a dragon?!? Whoa, that's still hard for me to believe. The dragons on my world are...well, they're DRAGONS. They can't shift into any other shape! It's strange talking to the guy and knowing that a real dragon lies hidden under that human form he wears.

It looks like Maika's leaving us so we're going to have to deal without a healer. Doesn't bother me cause I've never traveled with a healer before anyway. Come to think of it, this is the first time I've decided to go off traveling with a group of people I only recently met. Bethany and Nerissa are both really cute but neither seems interested in me on a romantic level. Guess that's for the best since I shouldn't get too deeply involved with commoners. I doubt I'll find anyone on Variance with royal blood and enough intelligence to understand and possible use psychic power though.

I wish this damn ruby stone of mine would start to glow and lead me to a portal that will take me back home already. This crazy alternate world is starting to get on my nerves.

Rowan finally confessed that he loves me, but before I could enjoy the special moment we were attacked by demons. Once again my berserker rage took over and I found myself possessed by a lust for demon blood. The battle proved difficult but we won. Mikael received the most injuries. He's recuperating quickly thanks to a unicorn that enchanted the water of a small pond, turning it into a healing elixir. It's a good thing that happened because it looks like the healer traveling with us is about to return to his home. Hopefully, we'll have enough of that special water to last us until we reach Bizmar.

I inadvertently discovered that Rowan has a fear of deep water. I wonder if he'll want to talk about it. Or will he just brush it off like it's no big deal? It's time to settle down in front of the campfire with him and find out.

I've been invited to add my thoughts here. This is so cool! It's another awesome way to relieve boredom. Now I'll have something to do when I'm not busy eating, practicing my psychic ability, or chopping up monsters with my sword.

Here's a quick update on what's going on right now. This satyr by the name of Willy just came into our camp with a bunch of cute dryads. It doesn't take a genius to know they're up to something. My guess is they intend to rob us after pulling the wool over our eyes with their charm magic. Ha! That's not going to work on me. I was smart enough to throw up a psychic shield as soon as I saw that ugly satyr. My brilliant plan is to toss cold water on all the guys to break the dryad's charm over them. Bethany's going to help me. We'll be heroes, and heroes always get an extra helping of food, don't they? *grin*

I have a new mission: to find and eliminate a man who has been killing slavers. The brief description I got from Yadon fits Kyros Hunter, one of Rei's friends. I won't touch him until I'm positive he's the one I'm after. If he ends up being the mark, I'll have to make it look like an accident or something similar so Rei and the others don't suspect me.

We left Dara near noon, following a little used path through woods skirting the main road. After several hours of slow travel we came to a small clearing with a pond and met a satyr named, Willy. He lied to us about an enchantment on the water in the pond. I think that was his way of trying to get closer to our group. It's easier to take advantage of people who trust you.

Rei has decided to avoid me today after we spent a beautiful night together. I'll let her have her way for now since I have a more important problem to try and work out. Why does Yadon want to know everything about my apprentice? His interest in Rei has me deeply concerned.
